| I'd never want a purely indoor pet. All animals have some sort of smell, and you're just gonna concentrate that in one location? I loved it when my dog was inside, but she spent plenty of time outside too. A cat even I would force outdoors every now and then. Don't get me started on people who own guinea pigs or rabbits and keep them indoors, those barely even fit my definition of a pet: something you can play with that can also play with you back.
